Jack Dobson

Jack joined Edison back in February 2017 after several years working within a sales environment within the Insurance industry.

Being new to the recruitment world Jack has transferred his current skills and developed new ones to enable him to find the ideal candidate. Working within the contract team Jack enjoys the fast pace of the contract recruitment and has a very good eye for matching the right candidate to the right role.

Kathryn Vance

Kathryn started with Edison in January 2015 as the Accounts Administrator. Previous to working with us she had worked in various finance roles since graduating from university in 2002 with a business degree.

Kathryn’s role at Edison is integral to ensuring the easy flow of processing sales & purchase invoices and is one of the main points of contacts when it comes to getting paid!

Dan Cradock

Dan has worked in technical recruitment for over 10 years, principally in the field of automotive engineering. Dan joined Edison when it was founded in November 2012 and is an invaluable member of the team. He has a proven record of service delivery with success working on high volume corporate accounts and smaller more tightly focussed customers alike. He has worked on both contract and permanent positions across the industry, but more recently focusses his time on the management of permanent positions in the industry.

Owen Kilmurray

Owen began his recruitment career with Edison in March 2014 and quickly established himself as a key member of the team. Despite his previous roles being away from recruitment, he rapidly rose through the ranks, starting as a Resourcer and quickly becoming one of the main interfaces for Edison with some of their major clients.

John has worked for Edison since the day it was founded in November 2012. Prior to Edison he had worked in the technical recruitment field for over 10 years. In the last 5 years he has specialised in engineering recruitment. His expertise lie in the areas of mechanical and systems engineering for automotive OEMs, first tier suppliers and specialist motorsport and F1 organisations.

John currently manages the biggest account on Edison’s books and has a proven track record for matching the perfect candidate to the ideal role, he is the first point of contact for highly specialist contract jobs in the industry. Louise Farmer

Louise has over 20 years experience in accountancy and has been involved in the financial side of the recruitment sector for over 10 years. Starting her career as an Accounts Assistant in a Chartered Accountants office she has worked her way through the ranks switching between Financial & Management Accountancy, but for the last 13 years has been Financial Controller in various sectors.

Louise first joined Edison in May 2014 working freelance producing monthly Management Accounts and helping out with any ad hoc financial matters. She then joined the team on a Permanent full time basis in June 2015 as Financial Controller and has since been promoted to Operations Manager, she oversees the entire office and ensures that the day to day running of the business is as smooth as possible.

John McAuley

John established Edison Technical Recruitment in November 2012 after working as a recruiter in the automotive & technical sectors for 15 years. He began his career as a Researcher for the Technical Services division of an established corporate recruitment business, recruiting contract and permanent staff for a number of organisations in the Automotive software and electronics arenas. John’s keen interest in the Automotive industry and future technology development encouraged him to build his network in a very specific field, and when the opportunity arose for him to create his own specialist recruitment business, he seized the opportunity and Edison was born.

In 2016, Edison was acquired by Assystem Technologies, a global provider of engineering excellence to blue-chip clients in the UK and beyond.
